↳ About me
Design is my superpower

No matter what path I explore, I always come back to design, because it feels natural and deeply aligned with who I am. For me, design is a mix of intuition, curiosity, creativity, and empathy. I like to say I’m part empath/artist/ scientist/entrepreneur and 100% creative—but at the heart of it, I just love helping people. And design has always been the clearest way for me to do that. I'm highly intuitive, user-centered, and motivated by creating experiences that feel effortless, meaningful, and human.

Where I'm from

A question I get asked the most and the answer depends on who’s asking. I’ve lived in so many places that home is where I'm located now. I’m from Hong Kong, the US and Australia, and I married a Frenchie, so yes I have 4 passports... Uh huh, so that's why you speak with an American accent?... Yes, but I went to a German international school growing up in Hong Kong learning British English. I do go "home" to visit my parents but they live mostly in China now... one thing for sure is that I'm 100% Chinese.

My skillset

01

Product Design

I’ve spent the last 7+ years as a Principal Product Designer, leading end-to-end design for complex digital products—often from 0 to 1. I work across the entire product lifecycle, using frameworks like the Double Diamond to guide discovery, user research, ideation, prototyping, delivery and continuous improvement. I believe in reiteration and validating designs with real users early to build products that are not only functional but meaningful and high impact.
02

UI/UX Design

I started out as a web/digital/UI designer, working alongside UX designers for years until I eventually stepped into a role requiring UX as well, which was probably inevitable with the product design evolution. While I love crafting beautiful, elegant UI, I know form must follow function. I integrate UX and design thinking from the start to ensure the experience aligns with both user needs and business goals.
03

Visual Design

Before stepping into full-stack product design, I was a visual designer and that foundation still shapes how I approach product. I have a deep love for visual storytelling, polished prototypes, minimal aesthetics, and crafting elegant, engaging experiences. In my early digital design career, I worked with illustration, animation, and motion design—skills I’m eager to explore more deeply again, especially with the rise of micro-interactions and motion-led UX.
04

SaaS Design

My journey into SaaS began in 2012, designing enterprise event registration software at The Active Network and I’ve been immersed in it ever since. I’ve designed SaaS platforms from scratch, created design systems, led full redesigns, and collaborated closely with engineers and product teams to bring technically sound, user-friendly solutions to life. I’m comfortable speaking dev, complex systems, and sweating the front and back end details.

Clients/Brands

↳ Start-ups to Fortune 500

Over the 10+ years of my multi-disciplinary design career, I've collaborated with some of the world's biggest brands and companies.

To be honest, I’m just a humble designer who simply loves collaborating with nice and smart people who truly value design first thinking.
